The safety harness we use has one karabiners that is hooked to the safety line at all times and one track pulley that rolls along to the safety line.
Automatic recoil safety lines allow participants to go up ladders without reconnecting their safety line after each rung. When a participant secures him/herself on the platform, the safety line is pulled down by the next participant and connected to his/her harness before climbing.
The brake system at the end of the each zip line guarantees a soft landing to all participants, whatever their weight. It also ensures that participants are not thrown backwards after landing.
