Q.What is Forest Adventure?
A. An aerial course through the trees comprising ladders, bridges, swings, nets, trapezes and slides where participants move unaccompanied, from tree to tree, 5 meters above ground.
Q. Are there any participation restrictions?
A. We have 2 courses: One for adults and Junior from the age of 10 and one for children from the age of 5.
One the Kids Course, the height is 1.1m and recommended minimum age is 5 years.
On the Grand Course the minimum height is 1.4m and recommended minimum age is 10 years old.
Maximum weight: 130kg
Q.Can my under 18 yr old son/daughter go round the Grand course alone?
A. No, under 18 years old must be must accompanied by a participating adults who accept the responsibility of supervising him/her on the course in accordance with the specific safety rules and advice given by Forest Adventure instructors. Adults will need to sign a disclaimer accepting personal responsibility for supervising their own safety and the safety of any under 18 year olds in their care. One participating adult can supervise only one under 18 years old at a time.
Q.Is there supervision?
A. No, you will go on the course without an instructor. However, prior to departing on the Grand Course, you will receive a full safety training from an instructor. Only once you have demonstrated that you are safe to go will you be able to continue around the course independently. Staff patrol the course regularly and are on hand to assist where necessary.
On the Kids course, the children are attached to a continuous safety line and detached only when they have completed the course. In addition, they are being supervised at all time by an instructor.
Q.Is it safe to go on the Grand course?
A.Forest Adventure is substantial and physically testing aerial obstacle courses. There is inevitably a risk of injury when going at height. Participants are responsible for securing themselves to the safety system. If you do not attach yourself to the safety system you risk falling, which could result in a serious or fatal injury. However, the courses and operating procedures have been independently inspected by APAVE.
All participants receive a safety briefing from a trained instructor and wear a safety harness at all times.
Q.Do I need to book in advance?
A.During weekends we recommend you book in advance as the course gets busy and you may have to wait for the next available spot on the course. Please call 8100 7420/21.
We are open every day but Monday between 10 am & 6 pm last departure is 4.30pm.
Q.What should I wear?
A.Wear trousers and sport shoes - no sandals or slip-off shoes. Choose something that you don't mind getting dirty or slightly damaged – you may want to bring a change of clothes afterwards. Tie back long hair and we suggest you remove earrings and other body piercing.
Q.What is I am afraid of heights!
A.Why not give it a try – you might surprise yourself! Forest Adventure may help you to conquer your their fear. The course has been built so that it gets more challenging as you go which will help to build your confidence.
Q. Do I need to complete the course within a certain time?
A.We encouraged everyone to go at their own pace. Most people finish the Grand Course in approximately 2 hours, however it can take more or less time than this.
Children will usually complete the Kids Course within 1 hour.
Q.What if I get stuck?
A. Instructors will come and assist you. We have specialist equipment to lower people safely to the ground if necessary.
Q.What if it rains?
A. The course remains open in all weathers, except during lightning.
Q.What if I can’t finish the course?
A.The course is split into 4 sections. At the end of each section you can take a break or walk back to base camp if you decide not to continue.
Q.What if I fall?
A.Your safety harness will catch you, allowing you to regain your footing and continue.
Q.Do I need to be fit?
A.Forest Adventure is a aerial obstacle course. A certain level of degree of fitness and strength is required but if you can climb up a rope ladder at the beginning of each section you should be fine to do the rest of the activities. Each platform can hold up to 3 people, so you can always have a break between each obstacle.
Q.Can I go with my son/daughter on the Kids Course?
A.Yes you can follow your children on the kids course. You will be fitted with the same safety system as them and attached to the safety line at all time too. The Safety line has purposely been installed at a low level for the children so you may have to bend over a little bit!
Q.Can my under 18 yr old son/daughter go round the Grand course alone?

Q.Can I sign the disclaimer if I am under 21?
A. No , a parent or a guardian will need to sign it for you. If you are aged between 18 and 21, you will able to do the course without supervision, however, you will need the “risk acknowledgment and disclaimer” to be sign by a parent or a guardian be we can allow you on the course.
Q.Can I do the course if I'm pregnant?
A. We would recommend you don’t as there are certain risk associated with going on a aerial obstacle course which may arm your unborn child.
In addition, we operate with harness fitting on waist and we cannot allow customer to wear their own harness.
