No, you will go on the course without an instructor. However, prior to departing on the Grand Course, you will receive a full safety briefing from an instructor. Only once you have demonstrated that you are safe to go, will you be able to continue around the course independently. Instructors patrol on the ground and are on hand to assist where necessary.
On the Kids course, the children are attached to a continuous safety line and detached only when they have completed the course. Parents and carer are expected to guide and encourage their children from the ground.
An instructor will attach each child on the safety line and brief them on the safety protocol prior to letting them start on the course. An instructor will also detach the children at the end of the zip line.
The instructors will not follow the children on the course, parents and carers are expected to guide and encourage their children from the ground.
No, we do not allow adults to go on the Kids Course. The course is designed for small children. The Safety line is placed 1.4m above the activity and an adult will find it uncomfortable to go around the course and would be prone to lose his/her footing.
We have a "no crying policy". We believe that each child needs to grow at his own pace and that Forest Adventure must remain a fun activity. If your child cries and do not want to continue on the course, an instructor will bring him back to the main platform and safely back to the ground. You will be given a voucher for your child to try again at a later time.
On the Grand Course, we brief a maximum of 15 pax every 30 minutes and on the Kids Course, we have a maximum capacity of 30 children. We therefore recommend you book in advance as you may have to wait for the next available slot on the course.
